Here are three simple steps to get you started.

1. Profile

The first way to convert LinkedIn connections is with your profile.


It’s pretty basic, but so many people miss this amazing opportunity: include your call-to-action in your headline and About.

2. Updates

The second way to convert LinkedIn connections is with your updates.


Your updates appear on the Home page and activity feed of your contacts.

Not only are your updates a powerful way to position yourself as an expert, thought leader, increase your visibility and keep you top of mind…they also can convert LinkedIn connections…when used effectively.

3. Publishing

The third way to convert LinkedIn connections is by publishing articles that appear on your profile and on their Home page.


Similar to your profile, include a call-to-action in your article to convert LinkedIn connections.

NOTE: For maximum effectiveness, it’s imperative that you structure your article properly so you aren’t annoying or even worse…ignored!
