So you want to A/B test ad copy. Before you would fill out your 3 headlines, 2 descriptions, display path, and then go make an identical ad with one variable changed. 2/3 headlines stay the same, 1/3 is different. You could do this as many times as you’d like.

But now we can have 15 headlines and 4 descriptions that Google rotates in and finds the best combinations.

So I ask: Which is the best way to A/B test? Doing it the older way and changing one variable, or just creating one ad (per ad set) and scraping all the data from there?
