I am rather inexperienced with AdWords so any help is appreciated. I recently started a new campaign under a Target CPA bidding strategy and have seen very underwhelming results after a little more than a week of letting it run (2.04% CTR, $8.46 CPC). My ad strength for all ads are good-excellent, with a strong correlation between landing page-ad copy-headlines-keywords-descriptions. I learned yesterday that you should only use Target CPA when your campaign has a lot of conversion data, so now I’m just wondering what I should change the bid strategy to? Maximize clicks?

Also, say I were to edit (redo all ads) a paused campaign that has loads of conversion data and then turn the bid strategy to Target CPA. Would this be effective in maximizing conversions? Or would I be better off continuing with a new campaign?
