Business Plans That Work: A Guide for Small Business

The first book I bought on business plans called Business Plans That Work: A Checklist for Starting and Sustaining Small Businesses (with an introduction by Andrew Zacharakis). It’s a quick read with lots of useful advice. I like the “how-to” guides.

I especially liked the part where they pointed out that most people who try to create such plans tend to forget about the long-term plan and concentrate on their short-term goals. If you need a simple guide for creating a successful business, this is it!

The second book I bought on the subject was Business Plans That Work: Creating the Perfect Strategy and the Power to Create the Future. This one goes into greater depth on business planning and gives more detailed information on creating the right business plans. I enjoyed this book a lot. Like the first book, I found it extremely helpful.

The final book on business plans that Jeffry A. Timothymons and Andrew Zacharakis wrote work. This book covers all the same topics as the other two books mentioned above, but in more detail. I definitely recommend looking at these books if you’re looking for a more detailed plan on how to create success. They are also written at a high level, so if you’re already accomplished and have no idea how to start building your business, then this book will serve you well.
