I am wondering what would be the best contingency plan if my payment processor would go down to protect both an adwords account and a GMC account?

I’m guessing you would do the following in this order:

  1. Pause all current campaigns
  2. Disconnect GMC from adwords
  3. Disconnect GMC from your Merchant Platform

Let me know if any of you have run into this and your thoughts. I just want to protect my accounts and my clients accounts.
