I’ve accidentally left one of the dummy conversion tags on for a few weeks and it basically generated a lot of noises in my conversion data. I think it was made to fire every time someone visits one of the pages so I can test if the tag work. Unfortunately, now the high quality “customer signup” conversion is being mixed with this dummy one. Although, I’ve quickly fixed this mistake and let my campaign ran for 2-3 weeks to dilute the old record I’m still not confident enough to switch to Target CPA or Conversion based bidding strategy. It will be great if I can clear parts of my conversion history and only leave the latter one. Or at least know how far back Google will look into the conversion record so I can decide whether to dilute it further.
