With an innovative approach to cuisine, Munk aims to create a menu that reflects the awe-inspiring nature of space travel. Drawing inspiration from aerogel and encapsulated aroma, he seeks to push the boundaries of culinary creativity.

“Immersiveness is central to holistic cuisine, and my ambition is to blend gastronomy with art and science to create awareness about social and environmental issues. In this experience, I want to highlight food as a common thread in our human existence, and it will be truly meaningful to serve it while gazing down at the Earth’s curvature.”

A Gastronomic Journey Beyond Earth

During the six-hour trip, guests will ascend to 100,000 feet above sea level, witnessing the curvature of the Earth and the spectacle of sunrise from the stratosphere. With onboard wifi, they can livestream their experience to share this momentous occasion with friends and family back on Earth. The immersive dining experience promises to be a feast for the senses, with each dish curated to complement the celestial surroundings.

The Path to Space

SpaceVIP’s ambitious venture is made possible through a partnership with Space Perspectives, pioneers in space tourism technology. Their innovative approach utilizes a pressurized capsule lifted by a space balloon, offering a safe and accessible means of space travel. Test flights are slated to begin next month, with commercial journeys set to commence next year.
