Samsung Electronics has expanded its digital gallery with a new collection of 30 exclusive artworks from the British Museum. The addition is now available to subscribers of the Samsung Art Store, a service that allows users to display high-resolution art on compatible Samsung Art TVs.
Turner and Constable Masterpieces
The curated selection features works by renowned British artists, including John Constable and Joseph Mallord William Turner. According to the company, the collection highlights Constable’s ability to capture shifting weather patterns in the English countryside. Turner’s contributions range from stormy seascapes to views of Venice, Rome, and Zurich.
Subscribers can browse the selection and switch between different works at any time. The platform aims to provide an effortless way for viewers to appreciate historic art in their homes.

“Samsung is committed to using our technology to make world-class art more accessible to everyone,” said Gwiho Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “By welcoming these iconic British Museum pieces into our platform, we are proud to offer our global audience an effortless way to appreciate historic art at home.”
Partnership with the British Museum
This launch builds on an existing relationship between Samsung and the British Museum. The tech giant is also a corporate partner of the museum’s “Korea” exhibition, which opened on Oct. 1 and runs through Jan. 31, 2027.

Lisa San Martin, Interim Commercial Director of the British Museum, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration. She noted that the partnership hopes to encourage viewers to explore familiar works and discover new ones.
The British Museum collection will be available on Samsung Art Store starting Oct. 6. This move follows previous partnerships with other institutions, including the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, the Louvre, the MUNCH Museum, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
