Early Signs and Model Variants

Recent leaks indicate that at least two models in the Galaxy Tab S10 series are in the works, including the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. According to Android Headlines, the development of these tablets is well underway. The model numbers for the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus are SM-X828U, SM-X826B, and SM-X826N, corresponding to the US, international, and South Korean markets, respectively. The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra will have the model number SM-X926B and will be available globally.

Interestingly, there hasn’t been any mention of a standard Galaxy Tab S10 model yet. This absence is likely due to Samsung still being in the early stages of development for this variant. However, it is almost certain that a standard model will eventually join the lineup.

Design and Specifications Speculation

While specific details about the design and specifications of the Galaxy Tab S10 series are still under wraps, there is speculation that Samsung might aim to make the new tablets even thinner than their predecessors. The current Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, which is 5.5 mm thick, is slightly thicker than Apple’s latest 13-inch iPad Pro, which is 5.1 mm thick. Achieving a thinner design while maintaining durability will be a challenge for Samsung, as recent durability tests have shown that extremely thin devices can be more prone to damage.

Samsung typically follows a pattern of releasing new Galaxy Tab S series models every 1.5 years. The Galaxy Tab S7 series was launched in August 2020, followed by the Galaxy Tab S8 series in March 2022, and the Galaxy Tab S9 series in August 2023. Based on this timeline, it is expected that the Galaxy Tab S10 series will be introduced in Q1 2025, possibly alongside the Galaxy S25 series in January or February 2025.

iPad Pro’s Competitor

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 series is expected to be a significant competitor to Apple’s iPad Pro lineup. The inclusion of high-end features, powerful hardware, and a sleek design will be crucial for Samsung to compete effectively. The company has a history of producing premium tablets that cater to both productivity and entertainment needs, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series is expected to continue this trend.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is generating a lot of excitement. With the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra already in development, Samsung is preparing to introduce tablets that will likely set new standards in the market. Although the standard Galaxy Tab S10 model has not yet appeared in leaks, it is expected to follow soon. Fans of Samsung’s tablets can look forward to a potential launch in early 2025, alongside the anticipated Galaxy S25 series.
