    High-Octane Teaser Trailer

The teaser trailer for “F1” dropped during the British Grand Prix, offering fans a thrilling glimpse into the world of Formula 1 racing. The trailer, set to the iconic track “We Will Rock You” by Queen, features high-speed races, intense spinouts, and cars training on various courses. Brad Pitt, who plays former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, delivers powerful lines that set the tone for the film. “We need to build our car for combat,” he urges, to which Kerry Condon’s character responds, “How am I supposed to make that safe?” Pitt’s character replies, “Who said anything about safe?”

“F1” boasts an impressive cast alongside Brad Pitt. Damson Idris co-stars as Joshua Pearce, a rookie teammate at the fictional APXGP team. The film also features Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo. Joseph Kosinski, known for his work on “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Oblivion,” directs the film. The production team includes industry heavyweights like Jerry Bruckheimer, Brad Pitt himself, and seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

    A Unique Cinematic Experience

Filming for “F1” has taken place at real Formula 1 events, including the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the Hungaroring in Hungary, Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands, the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, and Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The movie promises a diverse set of filming locations, capturing the global essence of Formula 1 racing.

Director Joseph Kosinski shared the challenges of filming at actual Grand Prix events. “We’ve got Brad and Damson actually driving the cars, which is pretty spectacular in itself, but to do that in front of a live audience and at the speeds they’re doing it and figuring out a way to capture it… The logistics of it are unlike anything I’ve done before,” Kosinski told Deadline. The film features a custom vehicle designed to look like a Formula 1 car, equipped with 15 camera mounts to capture every high-speed moment.

    Plot and “Crews” Insights

“F1” follows the story of Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who is lured back to the sport to partner with rookie teammate Joshua Pearce. Hayes, who experienced a career-ending crash, is brought back by his friend, played by Javier Bardem, to help the struggling APXGP team. The team’s journey is filled with challenges as they aim to score their first points in the championship.

Filming of F1 – which also stars Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo – has taken place at real F1 events, including this weekend’s British Grand Prix.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Brad Pitt shared insights into his character. “[Sonny Hayes] has a horrible crash, kind of craps out and disappears and is racing in other disciplines,” Pitt explained. “His friend, played by Javier Bardem, is a team owner. They’re a last-placed team… They’ve never scored a point. They have a young phenom played by Damson Idris. He brings me in as a kind of Hail Mary, and hijinks ensue.”

Anticipation Builds For The Big Race

As the release date approaches, excitement for “F1” continues to build. The combination of real-life racing events, a stellar cast, and the expertise of Joseph Kosinski promises a thrilling cinematic experience. The collaboration between Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures ensures that “F1” will be a high-quality production, set to captivate audiences worldwide.

Fans of Brad Pitt, Formula 1 racing, and high-octane drama can mark their calendars for June 2025. “F1” is set to be a must-watch film that will take viewers on an adrenaline-pumping journey through the world of Formula 1 racing.
