Crunchyroll has officially launched on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. The anime streaming service is now accessible through the PlayStation Media Hub, enabling users in these three Southeast Asian markets to subscribe directly from their consoles.
Crunchyroll PS5 and PS4 Access
Users in the region can now browse and subscribe to the service without needing a separate web browser or mobile device. The integration allows for a streamlined experience where subscribers can manage their accounts and start watching content directly from the console interface.

The platform offers a library of hundreds of anime titles. Notable series available on the service include Black Clover Season 2 and Overgeared. This expansion marks a significant step in making anime content more accessible to PlayStation owners in the region.
Pricing and Mega Fan Benefits
The Crunchyroll Mega Fan membership is now available for purchase through the PlayStation Store. The subscription is priced at IDR 49,000 per month in Indonesia, MYR 14.90 in Malaysia, and THB 119 in Thailand.
This tier of membership provides several key benefits for dedicated viewers. Subscribers receive ad-free viewing across supported devices. The plan also allows offline downloads on compatible devices, enabling users to watch content without an active internet connection.

Additionally, the Mega Fan membership supports streaming on up to four devices simultaneously. This feature is particularly useful for households with multiple viewers who wish to watch different series at the same time.
Members also gain access to the Crunchyroll Game Vault. This collection includes over 100 anime-inspired mobile games. These games are included with the membership at no additional cost, providing extra entertainment value for subscribers.

The launch of Crunchyroll on PlayStation consoles in these markets expands the service’s reach in Southeast Asia. It provides a convenient way for anime fans to access their favorite content through a device they already own and use regularly.
