Samsung Electronics has completed a global series of technology seminars titled “The Brief,” designed to demonstrate how its latest AI-powered home appliances address the distinct living environments and consumer habits of five major regions. The events, which brought together approximately 270 media representatives and influencers from 23 countries, highlighted a strategy of regional customization rather than a single global product lineup.
The tour covered the United States, Europe, Latin America, Southwest Asia, and Southeast Asia. At each stop, Samsung presented specific AI features intended to function as “Home Companions,” aiming to reduce household labor, optimize energy consumption, and support family well-being through connected technology.

North American Focus on Kitchen Efficiency
The first event, “The Brief New York,” took place on April 15 and 16 at a Samsung showroom in New Jersey. The presentation centered on how artificial intelligence can simplify kitchen tasks for North American households. Attendees examined the Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub, which utilizes an “AI Vision” feature to identify food ingredients and container labels. This system automatically updates a digital Food List, helping users track inventory and prevent duplicate purchases.
Complementing the refrigerator, the Bespoke AI Oven features “AI Pro Cooking.” An internal camera monitors food color changes during the cooking process and adjusts settings accordingly. Samsung emphasized that these tools are designed to manage ingredients and prepare meals with minimal manual intervention, addressing the region’s preference for efficient, kitchen-centered home management.

European Emphasis on Energy Efficiency
During “The Brief Milan” on April 21, Samsung shifted its focus to energy conservation, a priority for European consumers. The company showcased built-in appliances designed to meet strict regional efficiency standards. The Bespoke AI Washer was highlighted for its ability to reduce energy use by an additional 65% compared to Europe’s Class A energy efficiency threshold. Similarly, the Bespoke AI Dishwasher reportedly cuts energy consumption by up to 20% against the same benchmark.
The European lineup also included the Extractor Induction Hob and a refrigerator equipped with “AI Precise Cooling” to minimize internal temperature fluctuations. These products were presented as part of a broader vision for an AI-optimized home that blends seamlessly into living spaces while significantly lowering energy footprints through SmartThings connectivity.
Regional Adaptations in Latin America, Southwest Asia, and Southeast Asia
In Latin America, events held in São Paulo on August 19 and Mexico City on September 9 prioritized the SmartThings ecosystem. Samsung demonstrated how connecting refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners into a single system allows users to monitor and control appliance status remotely. The company argued that this unified approach brings greater convenience to daily household routines.

The seminar in Gurugram, India, held on September 16, addressed the climate and family dynamics of Southwest Asia. Samsung introduced the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner, which features five airflow modes powered by “Motion Wind” technology. A key demonstration involved the “WindFree Wearable Good Sleep” mode, which syncs with Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring devices to adjust cooling based on the user’s sleep stages and body temperature changes.
Kitchen appliances in this region featured “Now Brief” for personalized information display and “Family Care,” a feature that monitors device usage patterns to check on the well-being of family members. Samsung also announced extended service support, including SmartThings Home Care and remote appliance management, to assist with maintenance and software updates.

The final event, “The Brief Hanoi,” occurred on October 14 at Samsung’s renovated Business Experience Studio in Vietnam. This stop targeted both residential consumers and business clients across Southeast Asia. Samsung displayed solutions for commercial environments such as schools and hotels, placing particular emphasis on its heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) portfolio. The company also previewed its 2027 air conditioner lineup, which will include updated designs and an “AI Energy Mode.” For home users, Samsung reiterated its commitment to long-term product support, offering software updates for up to seven years and a Home Appliance Remote Management (HRM) service for remote diagnostics.
