The controversy began when Sharpe’s Instagram account unexpectedly started streaming a live video. During the stream, explicit sounds could be heard, but the video did not show any images of the individuals involved. Sharpe later clarified on his podcast, “Nightcap,” co-hosted with Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson, that it was indeed him in the video. He explained that he had accidentally gone live during a private moment due to a technological mishap.
“I threw my phone on the bed and somehow went live on Instagram,” Sharpe explained. “I didn’t know I was live until someone from my team notified me.” Despite initially claiming his account was hacked, Sharpe admitted it was an error on his part. He added, “My phone wasn’t hacked. It was me being a healthy, active male.”

Following the incident, Sharpe joked about his lack of technological prowess and declared that he would be more cautious in the future. “I’m going to start leaving my phone in the car before any intimate moments,” he quipped.
