Alaska Airlines is expanding its flight network with ten new nonstop routes scheduled to begin operations between November 2026 and June 2027. This expansion follows recent growth driven by the carrier’s long-haul debut and the acquisition of Hawaiian Airlines, according to aviation analytics firm Cirium.
The new services include a mix of domestic regional flights and international long-haul corridors. Two routes will launch in November 2026, with two more starting in December. The remaining six routes will commence in 2027, featuring four international services to Europe and the Asia-Pacific region and two domestic links.
November and December 2026 Regional Additions
The first two new routes will connect Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and Boise Airport (BOI) to Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, California. These daily regional flights will operate until mid-April 2027. The carrier will use Embraer E175 aircraft operated by Horizon Air and SkyWest Airlines for these services.
In December, Alaska Airlines will introduce two new links to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Hawaii. These flights will originate from Boise and Spokane. Mainline Boeing 737 aircraft will serve these routes. The Boise flights will run daily until mid-March, while the Spokane service will continue until late April.
Kirsten Amrine, Alaska’s vice president of Network Planning and Revenue Management, highlighted the utility of these new connections. She noted that the expansion provides options for travelers seeking winter escapes or convenient alternatives to busier airports in Southern California.
2027 Long-Haul International Expansion
The 2027 schedule introduces four long-haul international routes departing from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Two of these will serve European destinations using the carrier’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner widebody aircraft. The other two will connect Seattle to destinations in the Asia-Pacific region using Hawaiian Airlines’ Airbus A330-200 jets.

Alaska Airlines will launch flights from Seattle to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in France in May 2027. During the summer peak, this route will operate five times a week. Simultaneously, the carrier will begin service to Athens Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (ATH) in Greece, with three weekly flights.
On the Asia-Pacific side, Alaska Airlines will start flights to Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka, Japan, in mid-May 2027. These flights will operate four times a week using Hawaiian Airlines’ A330-200s. In June, the same aircraft type will be used to launch a route to Papeete in Tahiti, running three times a week.
With these additions, Alaska Airlines will operate nine long-haul routes from Seattle in 2027. The expansion reinforces the carrier’s position in the international market, leveraging its oneworld alliance membership and partnership with Hawaiian Airlines.
Domestic Routes in 2027
Domestic operations will remain a core part of the network. Two new internal routes will launch in 2027. The first will link Portland International Airport (PDX) in Oregon with Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN) in Colorado. These flights will run twice a week in February and March 2027 using E175 regional jets from SkyWest.
The second domestic addition will connect Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) in Washington to San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC) in California. Starting in mid-April 2027, these flights will operate twice daily using E175 aircraft from Horizon Air.
