Anker has introduced the MagGo 2 Pro, a new portable battery pack designed to address the heat issues common in wireless charging. The device features active cooling technology, a 10,000mAh capacity, and a smart digital display. Anker claims this is the fastest and coolest wireless power bank currently available on the market.
Active Cooling and Fast Charging Performance
The primary innovation in the MagGo 2 Pro is its internal active cooling system. By actively managing the temperature of the battery, the device avoids the thermal throttling that typically slows down wireless charging speeds. This allows the power bank to maintain higher output levels for longer periods without overheating.
According to Anker, this cooling mechanism enables the device to charge an iPhone 17 Pro to 50 percent capacity in just 25 minutes. The power bank supports up to 25W of output via MagSafe. It also includes a USB-C port capable of delivering up to 45W of output for wired charging.
Smart Display and Physical Design
Unlike many competitors that rely on simple LED indicators, the MagGo 2 Pro includes a smart display on its side. This screen provides real-time data about the device’s status. Users can view the remaining battery level, the current charging speed for both wireless and wired connections, the internal temperature, and the overall battery health.
Switching between these different data points is done by pressing the power button. This level of detail allows users to monitor the charging process precisely, ensuring their devices are receiving optimal power.
The power bank also features a built-in kickstand. This feature allows users to prop up their phones for media consumption while they charge. The design accommodates various iPhone models, including the iPhone Duo. When used with the iPhone Duo, the power bank extends past the bottom of the phone, but the kickstand still functions correctly to support the device.
Anker is releasing the MagGo 2 Pro in several color options. These include silver, blue, gray, and a burgundy shade designed to match the new iPhone 18 Pro. The device is available for purchase on Amazon for $109.99.
