Samsung Electronics is presenting a new art exhibition at Seoul Design Week 2026, using its latest television technology as a canvas for creative expression. The event, titled “Design Is an Act of Love,” features 14 distinct artworks displayed on Samsung OLED TVs, specifically the 2026 S95H model.
The exhibition runs from October 15 to 25 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, South Korea. It builds upon a previous iteration of the project held at Design Miami Seoul in September, which featured Korean artists. This current showcase shifts focus to emerging Italian artists in collaboration with POLI.design, aiming to highlight human diversity through different cultural perspectives.

S95H OLED TV as Art Canvas
Each of the 14 pieces is presented on a Samsung OLED TV fitted with a custom-made frame. These frames were created specifically for the exhibition to complement the colors and mood of the corresponding artwork. The S95H model features a “Float Layer Design,” which allows the screen to appear suspended above a metal plate. This structural choice, combined with the custom frames, creates a visual presentation that emphasizes the character of each individual piece.
Mauro Porcini, President and Chief Design Officer of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division, stated that the project aims to show how design can make technology a more personal part of everyday life. He noted that the goal is to move beyond designing technology for people to designing technology that truly reflects them.

Artists Reinterpret Samsung Products
The artworks on display draw inspiration from a variety of Samsung products, including the Galaxy Z Fold8, Bespoke AI Family Hub, Music Studio 5, and The Serif TV. The artists used artificial intelligence as a tool to develop ideas and explore new forms of expression, grounding their work in their own perspectives.

Multidisciplinary artist Tommy Tokyo, known for his work in virtual reality and digital media, created a piece inspired by the Infinite AI air purifier. His work translates the product’s core concept of clean air into a visual narrative. Another artist, Caffè Design, drew inspiration from The Serif TV’s distinctive I-shaped silhouette, exploring how its design interacts with surrounding space.
The exhibition invites visitors to experience “Expressive Design,” an approach that embraces imagination and diversity. By viewing the varied combinations of artworks and frames on the same TV model, attendees can see how familiar products can become new expressions of personality and lifestyle.

The event underscores Samsung’s ongoing effort to position its consumer electronics not just as functional devices, but as integral components of personal and cultural expression. The S95H OLED TV serves as the central medium for this exploration, demonstrating the potential for high-end display technology to bridge the gap between engineering and art.
